Wednesday, the Ramtha Health Affairs Director Ikhlas al-Saad said that the COVID-19 vaccination process in the district is continuing and is going very well.

Ramtha has been witnessing large numbers of vaccine recipients during the past few weeks. More than 38,000 people out of the 263,000 residing in Ramtha received the coronavirus vaccine, according to Saad.

Ramtha has two vaccination centers, including the King Abdullah University Hospital and the Ramtha Union Club.

Saad lastly said that Ramtha’s Health Directorate aims to vaccinate more than 100,000 people by the end of June.

The National Center for Security and Crisis Management revealed that a total of 805,020 people received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine, up until Tuesday evening.

According to the statement, a total of 286,028 people received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

The data also showed that a total of 1,726,845 people have registered for vaccination on the Ministry of Health's official online platform.
