Monday, the President of the Private Hospitals Association (PHA) Fawzi al-Hammouri confirmed that private hospitals have been added to the list of possible vaccination sites on the Ministry of Health's online vaccination platform. He added that the coronavirus vaccines provided to citizens and residents of Jordan in private hospitals are free of charge.

He noted that vaccines came as part of the national COVID-19 vaccination campaign that is implemented by the Ministry of Health.

Hammouri stated that private hospitals are operating  as vaccination sites to support the national vaccination campaign. He added that private hospitals have organized training courses for healthcare staff to provide them with the necessary skills related to COVID-19 vaccination.

Hammouri said, "Any citizen or resident can choose where to receive the vaccine via the official online vaccination platform.
