Morocco confirms first case of Indian COVID-19 strain

Sunday, the health authorities in Morocco announced the registration of the first case of the Indian COVID-19 strain in the country.

They explained that everyone who came into contact with the positive case is being traced and placed under quarantine.

Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, Morocco has confirmed 511,856 cases and 9,028 deaths.

Saturday, three cases of the Indian COVID-19 strain were detected in Jordan.
