Sunday, the Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority (PDTRA) announced that they will be holdinga a two-day COVID-19 vaccination campaign Wednesday and Thursday. The aim is to vaccinate people in order to reopen closed sectors, reach a 'safe summer' and prepare to receive tourists in Petra and the rest of the Kingdom.

The campaign is implemented by the Petra Health Affairs Directorate and Queen Rania Hospital, in cooperation with the Crisis Management of the National Center for Security and Crisis Management (NCSCM) and the Ministry of Health.

The PDTRA called on the citizens and residents of Petra to register for vaccination.
