The National Center for Security and Crisis Management (NCSCM) called on citizens to expedite the process of taking the coronavirus vaccine.

The NCSCM wrote on Facebook, "Do not hesitate to take the available vaccines, coronavirus does not give you the luxury of time and choice."

The center called on those who wish to receive the coronavirus vaccine to register on the official online platform.

According to the latest statistical updates published by the NCSCM Thursday regarding the national COVID-19 vaccination campaign in Jordan, more than 1.5 million people registered to receive the coronavirus vaccine.

Additionally, a total of 699,328 received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine as of Thursday, while 220,594 received the second dose.

The Kingdom has approved five coronavirus vaccines for emergency use, including Pfizer-BioNTech, AstraZeneca-Oxford, Sinopharm, Johnson & Johnson and Sputnik V.
