PM sends well wishes to Christians on Easter

Sunday, Prime Minister Bisher al-Khasawneh, sent his well wishes to Christians in Jordan on the occasion of Easter.

April 20, Prime Minister Bisher al-Khasawneh declared May 2 and 3 as official holidays for Christians on the occasion of Easter. This decision includes Christians working in ministries, official departments, institutions and public bodies.

On the occasion of Easter, the Council of Church Heads announced earlier that churches will be open from the morning until 11am.

The council stressed the need to adhere to all preventive measures, which include wearing face masks and social distancing.
