Sunday morning, the Israeli Occupation army shot and wounded a 60-year-old Palestinian woman for allegedly trying to carry out a stabbing attack on a soldier in the south of Bethlehem.

According to the Hebrew newspaper, Yediot Aharonot, claimed that the Palestinian woman tried to attack the soldiers with a knife in the Gush Etzion south of Bethlehem in the West Bank.

The woman was transferred to Shaare Zedek Hospital and is in critical condition.

Investigations are currently underway.
