Romania confirms first case of Indian COVID-19 strain

The Romanian health authorities announced Friday the discovery of the first case of the Indian COVID-19 strain in the country.

The new case involved a 26-year-old man who had recently arrived from India.

Thursday, the Israeli Occupation Ministry of Health announced the discovery of 41 cases of the Indian COVID-19 strain in the country.

Tuesday, the World Health Organization (WHO) announced that the Indian COVID-19 mutation has been detected in "at least 17 countries."
