Thursday, business owners in Irbid called on the government to reduce the overnight curfew hours to by at least two hours in order to increase sales.
This came after merchants in Irbid suffered from a decrease in sales and lack of shoppers during the coronavirus pandemic.
Merchants expressed their disappointment regarding the government's mitigating measures, which were announced during a press conference Wednesday.
Business owners thought the new measures were 'useless' and do not benefit them, being 'the most affected sector' by the coronavirus pandemic, as they described it.
