The control and health teams in the Balqa governorate issued 100 warnings and 14 violations to commercial stores, and closed four shops for non-compliance with the set health measures and the Public Health Laws.

The Director of Health Affairs in Balqa, Muhammad Al-Tabnah, said Wednesday that these violations came as a result of 253 monitoring tours that included all regions of the governorate during the working hours permitted for the work of the facilities.

He added that 8.5 tons of foodstuffs were also destroyed.

In terms of the pandemic, Al-Tabnah indicated that the Health Affairs Directorate will continue the battle in curbing the repercussions of the pandemic by conducting PCR tests through the appointed stations in most districts of the government, in addition to vaccinating citizens and residents through the available centers in Balqa.
