The Director of the Agriculture Directorate in Ma'an Governorate Ahmed Al Khattab announced Tuesday that ‘Ma’an is free of locusts.’

He said that the relevant teams were able to get rid of the last locusts in the governorate in Al-Jafr area.

He stressed that the areas belonging to the directorate within the Ma'an governorate are free of locust swarms at the present time.
