In a win for Jerusalemites, the Israeli Occupation Police Commissioner ordered Sunday evening that the iron barriers at Damascus Gate in Occupied Jerusalem be removed.

The iron barriers acted as a source of anger for many Palestinians, who usually spend Ramadan nights in area. 

A Roya correspondent stated that the Palestinian youths preempted the occupation’s decision and removed the barriers erected in the area themselves.

Over the weekend, hundreds of Palestinians were injured by Israeli Occupation police in demonstrations in Occupied Jerusalem after several extremist Jews marched in the city chanting “Death to Arabs.”
