In the vicinity of Baghdad International Airport, warning sirens were sounded at an American base Friday, the day after a missile attack.

An Iraqi security source said that warning sirens were sounded at Baghdad International Airport, as part of security precautions, training and tests to counter possible missile attacks.

The source added that the air defense system was activated at the US military base at Victoria at Baghdad International Airport, and new warning sirens were set.

This measure comes a day after an attack by three Katyusha rockets fired at a camp housing Iraqi and American soldiers, and an Iraqi soldier was wounded.
