Thursday, the Palestinian Minister of Health, Mai al-Kaila, announced that 19 deaths, and 1,652 new cases of the coronavirus were recorded in the past 24 hours. 

2,360 have recovered from the virus. 

The deaths were recorded in the governorates as follows: three in Hebron, one in Jenin, one in Ramallah and Al-Bireh, one in Tubas, one in Tulkarm, one in Salfit, and one in the Gaza Strip.

The new cases were recorded as follows: 124 in Nablus, 20 in Tubas, 43 in Tulkarm, 17 in Salfit, 85 in Jenin, 66 in Hebron, 13 in Qalqilya, 16 in Jericho and Al Aghwar, 78 in Ramallah and Al-Bireh, 10 in Bethlehem, one in the suburbs of Occupied Jerusalem, and 1179 in the Gaza Strip.

6,061 tests were performed. 

The rate of recovery in Palestine stands at 90 percent, while the rate of active infections is 8.9 percent, and the death rate 1.1 percent. 

Al-Kailah said that there are 153 people receiving treatment in ICUs, 37 of whom are connected to artificial respirators.

462 people are being treated in coronavirus centers and departments in West Bank hospitals.

167,711 citizens have received at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine, while 38,643 received two doses.
