Wednesday, an agricultural worker from the town of Al-Mashare'a in the northern Jordan Valley died of heat stroke.
According to the non-governmental organization, 'The Workers' House' on Facebook, the man was identified as Muhammad Hamad Attiya Ruwai'i.
They added that he was 58 years old.
Saturday, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) warned Jordanians and residents against direct exposure to sunlight, especially in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba regions, due to the Kingdom being affected by a hot air mass.
