Londoners enjoy outdoor socializing after months of closures due to COVID-19

As restaurant terraces reopen and the English gather in small numbers, Londoners are taking advantage of the sunshine to eat outside and walk around Soho and Saint Paul's.

"It's great being back in, getting to catch up with everyone and it means we can do a bit more face to face socialising as well and build some friendships again that we've probably been missing for the last year or so," Tarun Mehta, a real estate agent, told AFP.

Erika, healthcare worker said "It's very nice, very refreshing, after being inside for I believe a year almost, it's nice. I work for NHS as well so it's a nice break to have some time for yourself and spend it with your love ones and walk around so it's a beautiful day."
