More than 140,000 people in Irbid have received the COVID-19 vaccine since the beginning of the national coronavirus vaccination campaign in Jordan, announced Irbid’s health director Riyad al-Sheyyab Monday.

Sheyyab told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that the "Your Vaccine in Your Car" campaign has been launched in the Sports City vaccination center to encourage people to receive the vaccine.

Jan. 13, Jordan began its national coronavirus vaccination campaign.

Monday, the Kingdom recorded 62 deaths and 3,509 new COVID-19 cases.
