Monday, the Jordan Medical Association (JMA) announced that another doctor, Nayef Jamil Azar al-Geishan, has died due to his infection with the coronavirus.

The JMA made the announcement on Facebook and extended their condolences to the doctor's family.

The new death brings the total number of Jordanian doctors who have died from coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic to 49.
