According to CNN Saturday, Brazil is asking women to "postpone" getting pregnant, over fears of COVID-19 mutations being "more aggressive in pregnant women."

"If possible, (the women should) postpone the pregnancy a bit to a better time so that (they) can have a more peaceful pregnancy," said Secretary of Primary Health Care of the Brazilian health ministry Raphael Camara.

"We cannot say this to those who are 42, 43 years old, of course, but for a young woman who can, the best thing is to wait for a little."

Brazil is one of the most COVID-19-affected countries in the world, and has the second-highest death rate.

Many have criticized Brazil's conservative president, Jair Bolsonaro, for not doing enough to prevent the spread of the virus.
