Tuesday, volunteers helped distribute Iftar meals for Syrians living in displaced camps in Sarmada, northern of Idlib, on the first day of the holy month.

Abu Omar who is responsible for meal distribution said, "The meal consisted of 900 grams of rice, a 300 grams chicken thigh, yogurt, date, an apple and a loaf of bread. It is distributed to the displaced living in these camps during this month, because they have nothing to eat for Iftar, hoping to make Ramadan better for them."

One of the displaced Syrians from Saraqeb Um Ahmad said, "We came to these camps since one year and four months, and if it wasn't for God and those good people, who help us, we wouldn't have been able to prepare any meal, as we are not able to buy any chicken nor rice or fruit."
