Thursday, the security services in Irbid arrested a person who defrauded expatriate workers wishing to travel to their countries, by issuing forged COVID-19 PCR test results.

The Preventive Security Department in Irbid received information that an individual was defrauding expatriate workers wishing to travel to their countries, by conducting fake COVID-19 PCR tests for them.

The accused made the workers pay for the PCR test, then brought negative results from a laboratory in Amman.
