Jordan recorded 50 deaths and 4,085 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 676,175.
The death toll has risen to 7,987.
The cases are:
-1,647 in Amman
-669 in Irbid, including 131 in Ramtha
-473 in Zarqa
-327 in Mafraq
-201 in Balqa
-159 in Karak
-132 in Madaba
-124 in Jerash
-112 in Tafilah
-100 in Ajloun
-97 in Aqaba
-44 in Ma'an, including six in Petra
A total of 218 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 342 have been discharged upon recovery.
There are a total of 51,092 active COVID-19 cases.
A total of 6,482 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 617,096.
There are 2,431 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.
A total of 32,296 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 6,404,559.
Wednesday, 12.65 percent of PCR tests came back positive, in comparison to 11.71 percent on Tuesday.
