Culture Minister, Ali Al-Ayed, and Bangladeshi Ambassador, Nahida Sobhan, discussed Tuesday the joint cultural relations between the Bangladesh and Jordan.

Al-Ayed stressed, during his meeting with the ambassador at the Culture Ministry building, the strength and prosperity of relations that the leaders of the two countries have established, pointing to the common cultural and human values between the two friendly peoples.

Al-Ayed shed light on the national plan for celebrations organized by the ministry with the participation of ministries and institutions in the country's centenary throughout the year, and included various cultural and artistic activities and events that reflect the richness of the Jordanian heritage and the richness of its sources.

He pointed out that the messages conveyed by the celebration are based on enlightened human dimensions that are open to the world, which are a translation of the visions of the Hashemite leadership over a hundred years of achievement and prosperity.

He called for deepening cultural exchange between the two countries through visits and events between the two countries, and the exchange of experiences in culture, arts, festivals and conferences, which culminated in the signing of a cooperation agreement between the governments of the two countries.

For her part, Ambassador Sobhan praised the historical relations between the two countries, reviewing the cultural relations and ways to develop them during the next stage to achieve the desired cultural goals of the two friendly countries.
