Jordan records 82 deaths and 3,565 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 82 deaths and 3,565 new COVID-19 cases Monday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 669,300.

The death toll has risen to 7,855.

The cases are:

- 1,756 in Amman

- 576 in Irbid, including 135 in Ramtha

- 342 in Zarqa

- 227 in Karak

- 164 in Aqaba

- 140 in Balqa

- 102 in Mafraq

- 79 in Jerash

- 65 in Ma'an

- 45 in Ajloun

- 42 in Tafilah

- 27 in Madaba

A total of 291 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 277 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 57,401 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 7,751 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 604,044.

There are 2,718 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 27,673 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 6,348,440.

Monday, 12.88 percent of PCR tests came back positive, in comparison to 12.54 percent on Sunday.
