The Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, sent a congratulatory message to His Majesty King Abdullah II, in which he expressed, on behalf of himself and the Kuwaiti government and people, his sincere congratulations on the occasion of the centenary of the establishment of the Jordanian state.

In his cable, the Emir of Kuwait talked about the civilizational path of Jordan which is full of developmental achievements that were strengthened during the reign of His Majesty, praising the close ties between the State of Kuwait and the brotherly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, which have always witnessed continuous development and close cooperation in various fields.

The Emir of Kuwait appreciated Jordan's honorable stances towards Arab and Islamic issues, especially the support it provides to the Palestinian cause and the contributions it provides in strengthening the unity of the Arab ranks and pushing joint Arab action in the service of Arab interests.
