The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Department announced Thursday that it will stop receiving customers on Saturdays every week, starting from April 13, in the administration center and its divisions spread across all governorates of the Kingdom (with the exception of the Free Zone Licensing Centers and Amman Customs).

The decision comes in line with the government's directives to control expenditures and rationalize consumption and in line with working hours in the rest of the state's institutions, so that the administration's working hours from the aforementioned date are from Sunday to Thursday and according to the timing announced by the government (9:00am - 2:00 pm).

Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh decided Tuesday to limit the official working hours for those working in public sectors during the Holy Month of Ramadan to start at 9am until 2pm.
