MPs call for reducing curfew hours during Ramadan

Wednesday, MP Ahmed Al-Asha said in a parliament session that 95 MPs signed a memorandum which called on the government to reduce the night curfew hours during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

The memorandum was submitted to the Prime Minister Bisher al-Khasawneh.

March 9, the Minister of State for Media Affairs Sakher Dudin announced the extension of curfew hours to start from 7pm until 6am.

Feb. 24, the government announced the reimposition of Friday lockdowns in Jordan. The Friday lockdown, which was originally instituted in October, was cancelled Jan. 13 after the King issued a Royal directive to reopen sectors.
