Tuesday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi met with his Saudi counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan al-Saud in Amman.

The Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs spoke on behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz addressing His Majesty King Abdullah II. He stressed Saudi Arabia’s solidarity with Jordan and support for all decisions made by King Abdullah II to protect the Kingdom.

During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in the region and ways to respond in a manner that serves the interests of both countries and Arab causes, while preserving security and stability.

Safadi expressed Jordan's appreciation for Saudi Arabia's continuous support. They also spoke about the deep-rooted and historic relations between Jordan and Saudi Arabia, and the importance of developing them further.

Safadi stressed that the security and stability of both Kingdoms are 'one and inseparable', and that they always stand by one another.
