The profession of driving large trucks is no longer restricted to men in Thailand. Rather, women have broken stereotypes by entering this occupation and are now driving mega trailers.

Driving trailer trucks is one of the highest paying jobs that have survived the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

In turn, this prompted a large number of women to work in the sector in order to support their families in light of the high unemployment rates due to the virus.

Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, Thailand has officially recorded 29,571 coronavirus cases and 95 deaths.
