Saturday evening, authorities arrested several prominent Jordanian figures, including Sharif Hassan Bin Zaid, and former top aide to King Abdullah II, Bassem Ibrahim Awadallah, citing 'security reasons.'

Awadallah, who was appointed Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court of Jordan in 2007, is currently the CEO of Tomoh Advisory in the UAE.
