A father was detained for a period of one week for organizing a wedding party for his son in the northern Jordan Valley Thursday.

The public prosecutor said the reason behind the detainment was that more than 100 guests attended the wedding.

He noted that the event was a clear violation of defense orders that stipulate gatherings can include a maximum of 20 people.
