The Minister of Social Development Ayman al-Mufleh said the decisions announced by the government Wednesday include JOD60 million which were allocated for social protection.

He told Roya that JOD50 million will be allocated to complete the Takaful Three program, which will support 60,000 families through salaries starting April 1, until the end of the year.

He added that the second program will be worth JOD10 million, which will be allocated to purchase foodstuffs from the civilian and military consumer institutions for underprivileged Jordanian families in the form of vouchers.

Mufleh pointed out that 285,000 families will benefit from these JOD35 vouchers before Ramadan.

Mufleh noted that those who receive monthly aid through the Takaful program are excluded from the voucher program.
