Tuesday, the Minister of Interior Mazen Faraya met with the British Ambassador to Jordan Bridget Brind to discuss ways to develop their bilateral cooperation, especially in the security and police fields.

During the meeting Faraya spoke about the "strong and solid" relations between both countries as well as their common interests in various fields. This formed a 'fertile' environment to establish a network of qualitative and effective ties in the economic, political and security fields, he added.

The minister stressed the need to continue exchanging security experiences, holding training programs and organizing visits to increase the cooperation and coordination against all kinds of crime. He noted that achieving security at the global level requires solidarity, cooperation and coordination of efforts worldwide.

Brind affirmed the UK's commitment to supporting Jordan and the "distinguished" relations between the two countries.
