Monday, the Minister of State for Media Affairs Sakher Dudin said the Ministry of Health has detected fraud regarding permits and work badges over the past week. According to the ministry, a number of people presented fake permits and work badges during curfew hours and Friday lockdown from one of the companies that work with the ministry to provide food and cleaning services.

When informed, the Public Security Directorate (PSD) launched investigations and took the necessary measures to detain all those involved. A total of five people were detained and referred to the Amman Public Prosecutor, on charges of using official logos or stamps for an unlawful purpose.

All individuals will remain in custody for seven days pending investigations.
