Sunday, the National Center for Security and Crisis Management (NCSCM) called on the citizens and residents of Jordan not to head to vaccination sites, if they have not registered for vaccination or were not assigned an appointment.

In a press statement, the NCSCM said these people cause overcrowding and 'severe congestion' inside and near vaccination sites. The statement stressed that this leads to further spreading of COVID-19 and puts the elderly at risk.

In order to ensure a smooth immunization process, the NCSCM stressed the need to register on the Ministry of Health's official online vaccination platform and wait for an appointment before heading to vaccination sites.
