The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said that the Family Protection Department received a report indicating that a father had been abusing his three children in Jerash.

The spokesperson added that investigations into the incident were opened immediately and the father has been arrested.

The relevant authorities transferred the children to a hospital to receive treatment. The spokesperson added that all of them are in good health condition.

The media spokesperson confirmed that the case was referred to the public prosecutor, who decided to detain the father at a correction and rehabilitation center.
