Kharabsheh: Jordan has not yet reached the peak of the pandemic

The head of the committee to assess the epidemiological situation in Jordan, the former Minister of Health, Saad Al-Kharabsheh, said Thursdat that Jordan has not reached the peak of the pandemic yet, and is not close to it, and weekly cases are still increasing.

He added, in statements to Jordan TV on Thursday, that until today, there are no epidemiological indicators saying that we have reached the peak and that two weeks must elapse before we say that we were in the peak.

He indicated that we are still recording cases close to 10,000 cases per day, and positive tests are close to 20 percent.

He said he hopes that the pandemic will begin to decline at the end of this month, which can only happen through adherence to public health procedures.

He stressed the need to monitor home quarantine cases, and monitor the amount of cases that have not been discovered.
