A health sector official with the Israeli Occupation said Thursday that more than half of the country's population of 9.3 million have received two doses of the Pfizer vaccine against the coronavirus.

The distribution of the vaccine began in December. Currently, all Israeli Occupation residents over 16 are eligible to receive the vaccine.

The Palestinian coronavirus vaccine campaign began earlier this week.
