During the weekend the Kingdom will be affected an extension of the hot air depression, however, a cooler polar depression will follow, which is unusual for this time of year and will coincide with the beginning of daylight saving time (DST).

Friday, the weather is expected to fluctuate, resulting in a significant decrease in temperates and rain. Temperatures will become less than their usual rates for this time of year by about six to eight degrees Celsius.

The weather will become generally cold and often cloudy with sporadic showers of rain in the north and center of the Kingdom. The showers may be accompanied by thunder and hail at times, with moderate to brisk westerly winds.

Additionally, Friday night, a cooler air mass will push towards the Kingdom, resulting in the high chance of frost formation.

Temperatures are expected to drop to levels below five degrees Celsius in many regions, resulting in extremely cold weather in several parts of the Kingdom.

Frost will be especially prevalent late at night in open agricultural areas, including open plains, the Badia, and the Sharah Mountains.
