Wednesday, the Royal Medical Services (RMS) launched a COVID-19 vaccination campaign to workers at King Hussein International Airport (KHIA) in Aqaba. This came as a part of the national program launched by the airport's security directorate.
In a press statement, CEO of Aqaba Airports Company (AAC) and the director of the KHIA, Ramzi Arafat, said the campaign aimed at vaccinating the airport workers against the virus, especially those who interact with the public directly.
Notably, the Royal Jordanian Airlines, in cooperation with the Airport Security and Protection Directorate, began Tuesday administering COVID-19 vaccines to its employees working across all Jordanian airports.
Jan. 13, Jordan began its national coronavirus vaccination campaign.
