Wednesday, the Minister of State for Media Affairs Sakher Dudin told Roya the government is currently considering introducing a package of mitigating measures for Jordanians, which will be announced next week.
Dudin assured Roya that the government's goal is to reach 'a safe summer', be able to reopen sectors and start returning to normalcy.
Dudin pointed out that in order to achieve a 'safe summer' compliance with preventive measures and defense orders is essential. He added that vaccination will help the Kingdom get there as well.
Dudin stressed that the government is keen to have a real partnership with the private sector, as instructed by royal directives. He noted that the private sector is considered a key partner and an important contributor to economic development.
He pointed out that the government is doing all that it can to reduce the burdens on the economic sector and citizens in light of the current COVID-19 situation in the Kingdom.
