Wednesday, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi extended his condolences to American citizens and the U.S. government following the shooting in Colorado.

Safadi tweeted "Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of the horrific shooting in #Colorado. Our deepest condolences to the people and government of the United Sates."

U.S. authorities in Colorado said an armed man killed 10 people, including a police officer, at a supermarket (King Soopers).

One suspect was arrested, who was also injured in the incident.

Investigations are underway.
