Jordan records 92 deaths and 9,003 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 92 deaths and 9,003 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 553,727.

The death toll has risen to 6,077.

The cases are:

- 3,898 in Amman

- 1,312 in Zarqa

- 1,014 in Irbid, including 43 in Ramtha

- 645 in Balqa

- 446 in Karak

- 333 in Mafraq

- 313 in Madaba

- 242 in Ajloun

- 233 in Jerash

- 209 in Aqaba

- 191 in Tafilah

- 167 in Ma'an, including 32 in Petra

A total of 518 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 367 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 99,762 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 6,649 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 447,888.

There are 3,334 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 45,699 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 5,569,435.

Tuesday, 19.7 percent of PCR tests came back positive, in comparison to 20.18 percent on Monday.
