Tuesday, the Ministry of Health held an open day for COVID-19 vaccinations for public and private sector medical personnel who registered to receive the vaccine on the ministry's official online platform. Health workers can get vaccinated in different health centers across the Kingdom and must submit proof of employment and their Jordan Medical Association (JMA) membership card.

The ministry decided to hold this open day to protect frontline workers from contracting coronavirus and limit further spreading of the virus. This is especially important because it protects high-risk groups due to their direct interaction with health workers.

The ministry continues to reiterate the need to abide by preventive health measures issued by the government.
