Sunday, a group of young volunteers called 'Fazaa Shamal' passed out flowers to women in Mafraq on the occasion of Mother’s Day. This group from Northern Badia launched this initiative to celebrate mothers and their role in society.

The initiative's organizer Mohammad Al-Fawaara said "We are a group of youth who always do charitable initiatives using the money we raise through social media sites, especially what we get from the TikTok app."

A total of 4,000 flowers were distributed to mothers in Mafraq, he added.
