Protestors marched through the streets of St. Paul, Minnesota near the state's capitol building in honor of George Floyd, holding pictures of the killed 46-year-old black man, waving "Black Lives Matter" flags and carrying signs with phrases such as "Prosecute the Police."

The father of Dolal Idd, a young man killed by Minneapolis Police on Dec. 30, 2020, addressed the crowd saying, "It's not only the police who is killing our people, it is the system."

March 7, the police officer Derek Chauvin has finally been charged with murdering the 46-year-old black man and is going on trial.

May. 25, 2020, Chauvin kneeled on George Floyd's neck for almost nine minutes on the streets of Minneapolis as another officer, Alexander Keung placed his knees on Floyd's upper legs.
