With the end of the eleventh epidemiological week, Jordan has recorded the most amount of coronavirus cases since monitoring began in early 2020.  

According to official figures issued by the Ministry of Health, during the eleventh epidemiological week, Jordan recorded 56,605 cases, 477 deaths, and the average PCR positivity rate was 18.9.

This week was the third-worst ever recorded in terms of death toll. 

Jordan ranks 36th in the world in terms of coronavirus cases, and second in the Arab world after Iraq. 

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Jordan has recorded 521,461 cases, and 5701 deaths.
