The Ministry of Public Works and Housing, in cooperation with the Traffic Department, Friday announced traffic diversions between the cities of Amman and Zarqa beginning Saturday as part of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project.

The ministry stated in a press release issued by the Media Unit that the traffic coming from "Zarqa to Amman" will be diverted to a parallel and adjacent to the left of the road, starting from "the entrance to the Arifa neighborhood/ Amiriya through the bird /zoo intersection" with a length of one kilometer to end at the beginning of the Abu Sayyah tunnel. 

The ministry indicated that the traffic diversion has a width of three lanes and is equipped with safety elements and the necessary guidance and warning signals.

The Ministry called on the citizens who walk the road to abide by the principles of safe driving, warning signs, and the instructions of the Traffic Department and the Ministry's cadres.
