Thursday, Amman's Attorney General Hassan Al-Abdallat announced that the head of the medical gas group at the Ministry of Health has been detained for a period of one week at a correction and rehabilitation center following Al-Hussein Salt New Hospital incident, according to Jordan News Agency (Petra).

Saturday, a technical defect in the Al-Hussein New Salt Hospital caused patients in the intensive care unit (ICU) at the hospital to be cut off from oxygen, leaving several dead.
