The Director General of the Jordan University Hospital (JUH), Islam Massad, told Roya that the hospital’s occupancy rate reached 100 percent Tuesday.

Massad added that the emergency ward is full of patients awaiting admission, indicating that the hospital has a capacity of 600 beds, of which 100 are designated for coronavirus patients. The hospital has 28 ICU beds. 

He explained that the oxygen supply in the hospital is good, and that its supply is reviewed and filled almost daily, and that the stock is subjected to constant monitoring to avoid any risks related to hypoxia.
